Because the eye is turned outwards, any stiff hooklink will come out just at the right angle to make the hook turn instantly and create the perfect hold.

The razor-sharp point is long and gently turned inward to ensure perfect hold once set in the carp’s bottom lip.

These hooks can be fished with pop-ups in Chod or Stiff Hinged Rigs, or with bottom baits, in classical stiff rigs.

Select Baits hooks from the SSF (Super Smooth Finish) series benefit from a PTFE (Teflon) surface treatment.

This treatment prevents the hooks from rusting, maintains the sharpness of the point for a longer period, and allows for easier penetration into the fish mouth, increasing the number of successful takes and hooksets.
