Corn Steep Liquor is a non-alcholic liquor with an added dose of betaine as a feeding stimulator. The CSL offered by Select Baits is vastly different from other versions commercially available, a fact which is easily recognizable in its taste, color and consistency. We essentially offer a double-concentration CSL, with a higher density of solid matter than regular CSL, giving it a golden color. The taste is sweeter (compared to regular CSL which is sour), and rather than a pungent odour most anglers know, the Select Baits version has a very specific smell. Originally, CSL is a naturally-obtained product that results from extracting starch from corn through industrial processing. Over time it has proven to be a highly effective additive in carp fishing, given its high dose of amino acyds and sugars. You can use CSL Complex in mixes, with particles, with groundbaits or with pellets. It is quite often to use in nutritional dips as well. It is 100% PVA-friendly and also does not dissolve pellets. Furthermore, CSL Complex is 100% water-solluble regardless of water temperature, making it highly efficient throughout the season. Recommended dose; 25-50ml per kilogram of mix. For particles we recommend you up the dose to 50-100ml per kilogram. When used with particles, CSL must be added after boiling. Given its low price it can also be used in manufacturing solluble boilies replacing water. The optimal dose can only be reached through testing.
