SCOPEX is an exceptional flavor which can be used with literally every boilies recipe and goes along well with just about any ingredients. It is perhaps one of the best flavors for waters were fish are not used to boilies. What does SCOPEX actually mean, where does the name even come from? Quite frankly, we don't know, all we have is a bunch of rumours. Perhaps the most well-known of them is that the flavor is designed to capture the flavor of ripe fruit which have just gone into fermentation and give off highly attractive esters. Another relatively popular theory is that it is a hybrid mix, originating in butter and cream. Yet another rumour attributes its success to a combination of solvents. And there's loads more. The only common denominator is that this is an absolute classic among carp baits. It can safely be used both as a staple stand-alone flavor, but also in combinations. It goes along well with fish and crustacean flavors, but also with fruitty ones and even with some spices. The possibilities are basically endless. Scopex is a flavor which gains quite a lot from using a sweetener, and our insider tip is first and foremost Thaumantin. If you really do want to give it that little extra edge, add a few drops of Black Pepper Oil. Use high doses only if you are looking for instant attraction in short sessions. For prebaiting, medium or long sessions when you are looking for that bigger fish, use smaller doses. Recommended dose: 5-10ml per kilogram of mix.
