Salmon
SALMON is an absolutely fantastic flavor, but one that can easily mislead anglers. The common perception is that this flavor can only be used in fishmeal boilies and only during the summer. In reality, this flavor works just as well with spicy birdfoods, and the brand offered by Select Baits is actually quite solluble and performs just as well in cold waters, if the boilies recipe is also adequately adapted. This flavor should NOT be equated with Salmon Oil, which is indeed an all-summer ingredient. Conventionally this flavor is used with fishmneal baits. It can be used both as a staple stand-alone flavor but also in divfferent combinations. It works well with fish and crustacean flavors such as SQUID & OCTOPUS, but it works just s well with fruitty or sweet flavors. Further ingredients for your recipe could be: L030, LIQUID LIVER, SHELLFISH PROTEIN, MUSSEL PROTEIN or BELACHAN. The Salmon flavor goes along well with fish oils, primarly of course the SALMON OIL. While this may sound paradoxical, it is our insider tip that this flavor gains quite a lot when combined with a sweetener and our recommendation first and foremost is THAUMANTIN. If you really do want to add that further extra little edge you can use a few drops of BLACK PEPPER OIL. Use high doses only if you are looking for instant attraction in short sessions. For prebaiting, medium or long sessions when you are looking for that bigger fish, use smaller doses. Recommended dose: 5-10ml per kilogram of mix.
