As carp anglers we all have to sometimes also include, if entirely rely on, particles in our fishing. They are a quick-repply bait that any angler must at least once try. Not only do particles have exceptional attractiveness, but being small feeding elements they never risk over-feeding carp. Rather, they keep carp busy milling around, lowering their guard and gently but surely "guiding" them to your rig. While it is true that they do not allow you to specifically target big fish and will quite often increase your rates of small or medium fish, at the end of the day, the list of big carp caught on particles is still quite impressive. And this list never ceases to add new entries year after year! Conventional wisdom has it that particles should be the first option on wild lakes or running waters where boilies are not common, but our experience shows that particles can be just as effective on highly stocked venues where boilies are the main food staple. As a cheap bait, particles allow heavy baiting as well as loads of "customizing" with flavors, sweeteners or nutritional liquids. Many anglers have experienced exceptional sessions fishing particles when carp simply frantically fed on their spots.
